My husband and I recently stayed 4 nights at The Kitano and overall we really enjoyed our stay. A few pros, the room was clean and larger than expected. The hotel only had 4 floors so it gave a boutique feeling in the heart of the city. The staff was friendly, especially at breakfast (but felt like they could have helped a bit more when trying to find dinner, which was a bit difficult for us). Worth mentioning, the location was a little far from the sights and not on the JR loop so we had to take the regular subway which took a little extra planing and time. The general area didn’t have many good restaurants so plan ahead. Even though we enjoyed our stay but as tourists we would probably select a different location next time.

The hotel locates at the tranquil part of Tokyo with convenient access to restaurants and subway stations. The highlight of my stay was the astonishing view outside the window, which can look at the Sky Tree Tower from afar, very clear though. Also, the hotel has the oldest Japanese Park.

This is the most spectacular hotel we have ever stayed in. My husband and I just spent three weeks in Japan for our honeymoon, and we spent our first two nights in Japan at the wonderful Hoshinoya in Tokyo. It was an experience that was unmatched in the rest of Japan! The amount of thoughtfulness and care that goes into every detail is astounding. The rooms are VERY comfortable and gorgeous, and I really enjoyed the shared communal space on our floor to make coffee and get a treat or snack. The onsen is OUT OF THIS WORLD ridiculous, with an open air skylight. AND, the food is delicious and made with all of the detail and flavor you would expect out of Japanese food. We got the Japanese breakfast in our room both days, and splurged on dinner at the restaurant hotel, which was one of the best meals we have ever had. 15/10 recommend this hotel if you can afford it - we would have happily stayed here for our entire trip!

Très bel hôtel avec des chambres soignées et bien agencées. La terrace est sincèrement magnifique. En revanche, il ne faut pas attendre de pouvoir travailler. Pas de business lounge. Énorme problème : l’éclairage automatique des chambres. Si l’un d’entre vous sort, cela allumera toutes les lumières. Impossible à désactiver. Impossible d’avoir des horaires décalés ou des insomnies sans réveiller votre conjoint. J’ai réveillé ma femme à 3h du matin et elle me réveilla à 7h du matin.

I stayed here recently and enjoyed my time here. As a lot of people have said in other reviews, this place is dated but it’s clean (very clean in fact) and very well maintained. The staff is super nice and were very accommodating to our requests (which wasn’t much. Just turndown service everyday). Our hotel room was on the 9th floor and was considered part of their “club level” floor. We got a special menu (that I assume is different from the rest) and a free local newspaper every morning. The room itself was tiny and for such a small space, was over-furnished. If they removed two of the four chairs in the room I think it would’ve been roomy. The room has two twin beds and were firm. The bathroom is also very small but it does the job. There is a vanity just outside of the bathroom and also a desk area in the main living space. There is complimentary wifi that was fast enough for me to stream my Netflix and YouTube without any hiccups. Overall the room was comfortable and I felt rested every morning. The hotel itself is split into two: The Main and The Garden Towers. In between the two there is a very beautiful garden that was a nice oasis in the middle of the city. There’s quite a few shops which sold quality goods and there are a lot of restaurants. I tried Trader Vic’s for lunch and Kato’s for dinner and drinks. Talk about expensive! But it’s a hotel so expect a serious up charge. I also treated myself to room service and it was also expensive but the food was excellent and well worth the expense. Besides those three days of eating hotel food, I basically subsisted off of food purchases from Family Mart which was conveniently located inside the garden tower section of the hotel as well as the local restaurants in the area which is a brisk 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. The subway station is not too far from the hotel and if you need a taxi there is no shortage of them as you can hail one at either tower entrances. I really enjoyed my stay here. What the New Otani lacks in modernity more than makes up for in their quality service. If you’re ever looking for a place to stay in Tokyo this is a place to consider.

Le nouveau Bagari Hotel a encore beaucoup de problèmes : 1 Toutes les fois que vous n'entrez pas, vous passerez par un magasin, vous ne pouvez pas vous battre en voiture, et chaque fois que vous rentrez, vous ressentez la porte arrière. 2 Aucun service ne peut être dit. Lorsque vous check-in, vous dites que les boissons non alcoolisées sont gratuites. Le boisson de check-out est facturé à 2500 yen par tonne et je ne me sens pas bien. 3 Le prix de cette 1w8rmb est un hôtel meilleur à Ginza et un hôtel meilleur service, et un Japonais est aussi en train de se faire sentir dans les commentaires de Google. Le département du VIP de l'hôtel a réservé un restaurant presque un mois avant moi, et a donné à douze restaurants des listes qui pourraient aussi être réservées, et l'hôtel n'a pas de pouvoir à cet égard.
