Das The Delight Swakopmund ist wie ein modernes Hotel an der deutschen Nord- und Ostsee aufgemacht und ausgestattet. Maritime, aber auch namibianische Accessoires angenehm und stillvoll gemischt. Sehr nettes, kompetentes englischsprachiges Personal an/in Rezeption, Restaurant/Bar und Housekeeping. Nettes Detail war das abendliche Verteilen von Wärmflaschen vor einer kühleren Nacht. Frühstücksbuffet und Bar waren gut sortiert .Das Zimmer (Familienzimmer) war sehr geräumig und komplett ausgestattet. Alles funktionierte und war sauber.
Alles in Allem jederzeit wieder und auch weiterzuempfehlen.

L emplacement pour visiter swakopmund et faire des excursions sorties bateaux et dunes en 4x4 extraordinaire. L hôtel très bien très bon accueil très belles chambres style marin moderne sublime très bon petit dej . Propre et staff au petit soins.Pour les dîners avons été au TUG et Océan Cellar les deux parfaits conseillons l ensemble

Hôtel qui a été rénové récemment avec des couleurs modernes ce qui lui donne un peu de charme (mais on reste sur un hôtel standard dont le charme est loin des lodges que propose le pays). Les chambres sont très spacieuses et la salle de bain également. Le petit déjeuner propose un large choix. Le service est de bonne qualité et le personnel très agréable. La localisation permet de tout faire à pieds. Un seul point négatif : vitrage simple dans les chambres dont bruyant si vous donner sur la rue, préférez les chambres qui donnent sur le patio.

Très bel établissement moderne, chambre moderne propre spacieuse. Très calme bien situé, personnel agréable et professionnel. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner gargantuesque et délicieux. Un bon compromis pour faire une halte entre deux safari.

Very cosy spot with all the aneminities. Nespresso and smeg fridge and awesome friendly staff. Porter to help with your baggage as well as a helpful staff member when you need it. They have a great assorted breakfast adjusted for their environment to make it unique. ( we had oysters and sjampagne!) They even noticed my friend's birthday and sang her a birthday blessing. Only negative is, our room was close to the road and we had traffic and noise throughout the night. Would definitely recommend.

We spent two nights in this hotel during our Namibia holiday. The hotel has its own secured parking space. The balcony of our room faced the road and a busy parking lot so there was no way of using it. Unfortunately there was no balcony facing the nice courtyard. Room was clean and the size was o.k. too. There was a floor lamp on the right side of the bed which was flickering when turned on. At night couldn’t open the window due to the noise. Buses reversing or waiting with the motor full on. [There is a ****** there]. Apart from the above shortcomings, some of which , understandably, the hotel cannot help, the hotel was o.k. What really stood out was the attitude of the breakfast room staff and the reception. One receptionist in particular appeared to be bored, disinterested and even when directly addressed couldn’t be bothered to help the guests as in when asked if she could recommend a cafe nearby. The breakfast room staff on the other hand were very friendly, doing a great job. The breakfast was also good, including as one guest has already mentioned, Oysters and sparkling wine

Easy access, private parking, and very well located in the center of Swakomund. The hotel is very well decorated, and you can see that every detail has been thought of, from the combination of colors to the pieces. In a young urban style, the hotel is very comfortable and quiet. With 50 rooms spread over two floors, the interior backyard is very calm and gives guests privacy. The staff is very friendly, attentive and available. The breakfast is complete and of quality. The room was spacious, well lit and the balcony made all the difference. The wifi had a good signal, but weaker in the room at the back. Very fair price-quality ratio. Opportunity for improvement: slight smell coming from the bathroom.

Staying two nights at The Delight Swakopmund was on our itinerary through Ultimate Safaris in Windhoek, and the experience did not disappoint. I loved crawling into our comfortable bed at night with a hot water bottle tucked inside during turndown. The grounds were beautifully manicured, and the breakfast buffet substantial. The staff were courteous and professional. The Delight was our base for sea kayaking among the thousands of Cape Fur Seals at Walvis Bay and seeing all the flamingos, as well as, visiting the Snake Park in Swakopmund. It is conveniently located such that one can walk to a couple of good restaurants nearby or go shopping.

Very helpful staff, in the evening even thermophor was brought to our room and placed under the blanket because the nights were cold :) DElicious breakfasts which contained champagne and oysters (Swakopmund is famous for)
