Days Inn by Wyndham Picayune

What a crap hole! 1st impressions are everything. Dead plants, cracked parking lot, filthy building, check in thru a cubby hole window. There was poop splattered on our door, room smelled misty, freeze hadn’t been defrosted every, headboard rail falling off, luggage rack had 1 out of 5 straps attached, toilet paper holder falling out of wall. Need more? Hopefully this post will allow me to add the pictures I took for proof!

Pretty decent hotel for the price. The room was clean and in good shape, had all the amenities we needed - desk, tv, nice shower with good water pressure, comfortable bed. The website said it had a complimentary breakfast but when we arrived were informed that they weren't doing that anymore. Not good. But if you're looking for a good budget hotel, this should fit your needs.

The place looked abandoned. ALL the plants were dead, the parking lot was pitted and badly cracked, you checkin through a safety glass window - not allowed in the lobby. Room was filthy and I really mean that. Safety lock completely broken off, charging ports missing, splashes of go knows what on the walls, mens facial hair from shaving all over the sink, cups, Coffee packs, bathroom had someone's toilet paper still on the rim. Mortified to say the least.

This is an older hotel right off the freeway which I generally avoid however, it was getting late, I was really tired and there didn't seem to be any good hotel availability within hours. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I asked if I could see the room first and the two men at the desk were very willing to show us the room. It was clean and nicely appointed. They made sure the ac and the refrigerator were working and discovered the remote was missing for the tv. When I agreed we would like to stay there, they furnished me with a new remote. We were able to park right outside the door to our room and it was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the interstate. There is a grassy area to walk ones dog. I-Hop is right in front of the hotel and it is near other restaurants and shopping. A Walmart is about 1-2 miles away. All-in-all, we were very pleased with the stay and would stay again if we were in that area.

Roaches running around unit, loose store bought roach traps laying around, ac is old and does not properly cool, unit stays hot. Cobwebs all over unit. Medication pills loose on floor upon arrival. Was not given the room type I pre-paid for and reserved.

The hotel was dirty and in need of updating. The pool was filthy and the gym was closed. We were told online that there would be free breakfast but when we arrived we were told that they didn’t have any breakfast. The door had a huge gap at the bottom of it and didn’t close properly. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is a very quiet and peaceful place . The rooms are clean and the staff is great. I got the best sleep ever. You could not hear anything when you were in the room, no outside noise traffic or cars. My stay was great and will go back.

Dirty fridge, shower curtain broke and dangerous, toilet flushes only if you hold the handle for 10 seconds or so, Slow draining tub during shower, Cockroaches and cobwebs everywhere. AC rattled all night long.Etc…
