Really friendly staff. They gave us some great advice on which route to take to our next stop on our way back to Brisbane as we were keen to stay on sealed roads only. Room was spacious and clean, everything in great condition. Will definitely stay here again upon a future visit.

The rooms are so tiny you couldn’t even walk past another person. Two adults felt like squished sardines in a double room. The owner is over the top, rude, and doesn’t treat his staff with respect.

Black mould, uncomfortable bed and average facilities. They charged a late fee for still being on premises at 10am. Shocking and unacceptable. Will not stay again and have told everyone I know the same

I arrived I’d afternoon, after blowing a tyre and was a little flustered. The owners greeted and were so friendly and understanding. I needed to extend my stay, which was not a problem whatsoever. They offered me a soft drink, which was so appreciated, considering the temperature was in the mid thirties. Nothing was a problem and the room is perfect, with fantastic air conditioning. The owners went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Only book if this is your last option in Nyngan. Dirty bathroom and rude check staff. I would never stay here again. Run down furniture and holes in sheets. The shower was only warm and shower screen door was damaged. There are other options in town but one motel is booked out totally by the mines for three years. Caravan park is another option

Our overnight stay was fine. Greeted by a lovely young lady on checkin albeit at table blocking reception like in Covid. Had to supply ID but was surprised had to pay $100 deposit above our room fee. We did get it back within 2days. Room was clean neat and tidy and all we needed for one night stay. Think future guests should read reviews and the photo I have attached of the Terms and Conditions before booking.

The friendly staff here gave us 2 rooms at the last minute, we were so grateful. We arrived and we were having terrible troubles with our internet, the staff were very patient kind and helpful Thankyou lovely staff,, all the best

Recently stayed as a couple at the Alamo Motor Inn in Nyngan when travelling further the next day to have Easter with family. When checking motel availability online, this was the only one that came up. We did not expect 5 star and found this pleasantly adequate for our overnight stay. The rooms were small but clean with good in room facilities. Coffee making and a toaster was all one needed for this short stay. The motel was in walking distance to the bowling club which had a good Chinese restaurant and a courtesy bus back to the motel after dark.

The managers were very unpleasant in response to seemingly several routine requests; for example After I paid ~$900 for a week in advance for my room, my college found he had to transfer some funds but had a flat phone. When he asked if he could take the key and come back after he unpacked his laptop the blunt reply was he couldn’t have the key until he paid. In stark contrast when we asked for a receipt after we paid we were told we couldn’t have one until the end of our stay even after we pointed out that we could not be reimbursed by our employer until we got one. After paying for the second week and still being met with a refusal I had to point out it was illegal not to provide a receipt within 7 days of payment and i would report them to NSW Fair Trading if they did not comply. They relented, but I am at a loss to know why we had to ask/demand so many times - or why they insist on pre-payment if they don’t want to issue a receipt until the end of a stay. I left my laptop behind - I am grateful for the effort they went to return it - and don’t even begrudge the $20 admin fee they charged, but when i asked for the Post Office receipt for the $50 charge ( in case I needed to claim on insurance) and tracking number they send me copy of a portion of receipt with just the latter showing and terse ‘this matter is now closed’. I am a loss to know why they didn’t supply a copy of the entire receipt without me asking. Final example is we went to another establishment towards end of first week to see if we could get in somewhere else (no vacancies). We mentioned we were already ‘ at a place’ and the immediate unprompted reply was ‘ you must be at the Alamo, we get lots of people wanting to leave there’. So its not just was that wont be giving them repeat business (which in our case is 2 rooms x 1-2 weeks each trip)!
