Froog Moore offers an indulgent, adults only stay and dine experience away from the mainstream motel *****. The hosts Peter and Sandy are extremely hospitable, welcoming me into their unique space. My room was themed Japanese - truly beautiful and very relaxing. Sandy cooked me an absolute taste sensation and I bought her cook book as I want to replicate this meal at home. The property is set on a beautifully landscaped area which evokes tranquility and peace. I recommend treating yourself!

I rarely have the opportunity to write a 100% 5 star review for places we visit. We were stunned at the end to end experience at this lovely small boutique hotel. Everything from the decor and beautifully themed rooms to the meals and the engaging hospitality shown by proprietors Peter and Sandy was simply excellent. No packet corny breakfasts or plain old bacon and eggs on a bit of toast here. Every meal was a creation. Sandy’s passion for cooking was a major win for us here. WOW Factor 5.

There really aren't enough superlatives to adequately describe the Retreat. Sumptuous, opulent, luxurious and so on, are just words that do not do any justice to to this wonderful oasis of sheer delight. The stay we had with Peter and Sandy at their Retreat was divine. Incredible attention to detail everywhere you look, with amazing garden areas to explore and relax in. The food Sandy prepared for us was Masterchef standard. We enjoyed it so much, Gillian bought Sandys cook/recipe book which we are very much looking forward to rattling the pots over when we return home. Do yourself a favour and spoil yourself to this wonderful place.

The Retreat was exactly that - a lovely escape to a boutique hotel run by delightful hosts who are keen to welcome you in. The room was comfortable and clean, the bar area is a slightly eccentric, fun space and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend The Retreat if you happen to be travelling through Tamworth.

For a couple who never do reviews staying in Froog-Moore Park has changed this. This Retreat is so much more than accommodation and meals. It is a totally amazing experience. Sandy and Peter are the most congenial hosts, with nothing too much trouble. Warm and friendly and at the same time allowing us space. Highly recommend eating in as the meals created by Sandy were a sensational blend of flavours from around the world. The rooms and bar area are eclectic to say the least and the gardens are beautiful to wonder through with a nice wine. A must experience!!

What a treat. My wife and I had a night away here, and loved the whole experience. The room was excellent, but it was the food and interaction with the hosts that really made it. They gave it a really personalised feel. The food was absolutely divine, and they were happy to discuss anything about the different foods from different parts of the world. The garden out the back was really nice and lot of produce being used in the kitchen was grown in the garden. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I recently experienced 'The Dungeon' at the 'Retreat'. Trust me when I say we were both pleasantly surprised. Beautifully clean rooms and whole establishment, the gardens took my breath away and bought tears to my eyes as I wandered around and observed the attention to detail, quirky little things hiding in the garden, from little concrete dragon, to the kitten (concrete) that meets you as you walk through to the rooms. Sandy and Peter are the perfect hosts, with a warm welcome and a nothing is too hard attitude. Beautiful meals were prepared with my dietary needs well catered for, fine dining comes to mind as I look back over our stay at Froog-Moore, located in a quite area with shopping not far away. Rooms are well appointed and gives you the privacy and the illusion of being the only ones there. Most certainly will return - do yourself a favor and try it.

Beautiful luxurious room and quiet setting just on the outskirts of town. Made very welcome by our host throughout our stay. Great food for breakfast. Highly recommend for anyone seeing a relaxing or romantic getaway!
