The Hamilton Beach Villas & Spa

The apartment was large, well appointed and really comfortable. The 50ms pool was a tranquil start to each day before walking into the most gorgeous beach. The yachtsman beach bar serves great food and it’s weekly party night, not to be missed. Long beach with crystal clear water. Heaven!

Once I made my booking, I was in contact with the hotel via email to assist with some questions regarding transportation and grocery delivery. In the end I asked the hotel to book our transportation to/from St. Kitts and that was more than a home run. The taxis and the boat were all on time both ways and we made it from St. Kitt's airport to the hotel in under an hour. During the email communications the hotel always provided detailed answers in a very timely manner. I also arranged to have a case of beer delivered to the room so we would have it when we got there. The beer was in the room but not stored in fridge, so it was warm on our arrival. Check-in was amazingly quick and we were personally escorted to our villa which I thought was a really nice touch. The 1BR unit was large, bright and airy. Balcony off of the master bedroom overlooking the pool and balcony off of the living room overlooking the trees. Some interesting negatives: The unit only had 3 hangers, 2 forks in kitchen, no tv in bedroom and no hair dryer which I found odd. We made do with what we had, and I absolutely know that if I would have requested these items they would have been delivered. Great washer, dryer, fridge. Stuff never seemed to come out of dishwasher clean enough for us and the ice maker in the freezer wasn't too efficient for us. Very quiet resort with a beautiful beach. Excellent staff. Whenever we needed a taxi the front desk would call and the taxi would arrive within 10 minutes. Speaking of taxis -- we had Ozzie as our driver upon arrival and really appreciated his driving, monkey stories and just great personality so whenever we needed a taxi we requested that he be called. Excellent housekeeping. The housekeepers were lovely and the room was always top notch clean. Lots of wildlife on this island. Monkeys on trees right outside the unit, sheep, donkeys and goats roaming around, exotic bird sightings, roosters and some quite loud frogs chiming in the middle of the night all made a very interesting vacation for us. I did bring bug spray but wasn't completely diligent with it resulting in about 8 mosquito bites throughout the week. We absolutely loved staying here. We enjoyed so much peace and tranquility throughout the week and will certainly return in the future.

Awesome stay! Clean, all well equipped. Basically, by staying here, you have everything you need. The restaurant Yatchman Grill is within walking distance, where you can enjoy the beach while dining. All the staffs are polite, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The Hamilton villa we were given was a 3rd floor walk up. It was spacious and perfect for our family of 3. We had access to the rooftop with amazing views of the mountain and St kitts. The staff were wonderful especially Akema. She was very sweet and helped us all week. We had Ozzie as our taxi driver and he was the nicest most generous man. He brought us fresh mangoes, bananas, pineapples and papayas. I would definitely recommend to use him! The beach was beautiful and quiet. There were only a handful of people there and we really had the beach to ourselves most days! No need to wake up early to get a lounge chair. The pools are nice. Nothing over the top. My son liked to dip in at the end of the day before coming up to the room. The water was nice and warm. The only issue we had was that there was a generator that went in one day for most of the day - it was so loud and made the windows rattle. Then it went on one night at 2:30 am - woke us up and didn’t go off until almost 4am. That was rough. The other thing to know is that there are no elevators so you have to carry your bags up the stairs! Be aware! Otherwise- it’s a great place to stay!

I moved here after an Airbnb nearby didn't work out. Apartments are huge and mostly clean. A/C and hot water work well. Staff is helpful. The beach is nice and there were never more than a few people there. Restaurant is good and friendly. Note that the grounds are very dark at night, so walk carefully. And mosquitos can be an issue.

The villas are spacious, access to the Yachtsman's grill is handy the fitting were cheap and not resilient - the blind fell down swimming pool is awkward to use gym is very small beach is great - clean nice lungers

We stayed with a toddler. They have been great, from sorting out transfers from the St Kitts airport to making sure we had a room setup for a baby. They provided a good cot and a small bath for him to use. The room we picked had everything we needed. 2 bed, Seaview, balcony with both covered and outside area and a massive roof terrace. There was also a very well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, oven, microwave and a washing machine, which all made our stay so much easier. The AC has been great and we have never needed more from the room. The location is right on the beach, so a few steps and you are on a sun bed or in the sea. Wasn't busy at all and felt so private and relaxed. There are two main areas of apartments and rooms, both surround a beautiful garden and pool. The pool nearer to the beach has some lovely shaded seating areas and a sort of lazy river. The one at the back is very long but not setup to sit around in the same way. The website photos do not do the place justice, the setting is stunning on the beach with a to die for view of St Kitts from a yellow sand beach. The gardens in the middle are so much better than most similar places, you just relax. They have arranged anything we have asked for, taxis, transfers etc and given us a room until our transfer, so we can relax right up to the time we have to leave. WiFi and Internet connection has been perfect. We had to do some Teams calls and they were as good as at home, no need to turn off camera. The Yachtsman grill is very good as well, so you don't need to leave the site to enjoy a great holiday however it is worth exploring. My only criticism is that I think the description of the rooms could be better, they undersold what we got.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hamilton Beach Villas. We stayed for 5 nights during our kids' Spring Break. This resort has both temporary renters staying on vacation, like we were, and permanent residents. Most of the activities, such as snorkeling, are on St. Kitts, and you will have to figure out traveling back and forth. Office Staff- very friendly and helpful. Nevis may have the nicest people in the Caribbean. House Keeping- Did a wonderful job everyday. Even cleaned dishes in the sink that we were planning on putting in to the dishwasher. Grounds- The grounds are beautiful. You are in paradise. Accommodations- Our room was awesome. We had a post card view out of our beach front room. We ate breakfast on the balcony most mornings. The appliances were all in good shape. It was great having a washer and dryer in our unit. The floors, fixtures, coutertops, etc are all a grade above typical high end chain hotel. A/C worked great. Not much water pressure though. Restaurant- The restaurant is not owned by Hamilton Beach but is on the property, so I felt like I should mention. The food is good. The drinks were very good. Service was great. You do have to remember that you are on island time, so your experience will take longer than in the states. We got one breakfast to-go which was great. We had one dinner at the restarant and ordered one dinner to take to the room. Odds and ends- There were a few quirks with the our unti that were nonissues for us, but I thought I should mention. The bathroom handle on the main bath door was reversed and the lock was on the out side. None of the shutters close 100% shut, so they do let a little sunlight through. The door knobs still open from the inside when locked. We had a funny experience because of this: When we checked in and were given a tour of the unit we went to see the roof top deck. I closed the door to the outside on the way up, and we were locked onthe roof! Fortunately a very nice permanent resident was walking by and opened the door for us. The water went out twice. I think it was a whole island thing not just our hotel. Was not a big deal. One negative experience- After a great day of snorkeling, we decided to cool off in the pool closest to the beach and our unit. At approximately 5:00 PM, a retired english man that lives next to the pool started screaming at us from his porch to get our kids under control and asking us "what kind of parents are you?" My wife and I were shocked. He was yelling that there are people that live here and to get our kids under control. Our kids were under control. We have 10 and 11-year-old girls that were being kids in a swimming pool. It was very uncomfortable and troubling. If the resort wants to promote itself as family-friendly and attract more permanent owners that have kids or grandkids they will need to figure this out. It was bad. In summary, we overall had a very good experience at the Hamilton Beach Villa

We had difficulty at first getting our suite because the air conditioning in the bedrooms wasn't working so we had to wait a while to move to another unit. The grounds are beautiful - the trash could be better kept up. The units are cleaned everyday if you want. Also the Yachtsman grill is on the premises and has wonderful food starting at 8AM and a great bar, nice wines too. The manager, Anthony was very understanding regarding the issues we had and provided us with a wonderful dinner certificate to compensate for our troubles. He is a very professional and great manager! The white sand beach is the nicest on Nevis and the water was clear and warm! There are chairs, small tables and umbrellas for use and the location is right in front of restaurant and bar - very convenient.
