A very nice hotel with friendly staff who try to accommodate non Spanish speakers though we used Google Translate a lot. Some rooms don't have sockets but on our second stay there after a jungle trip there were lots in the better room we had. Wifi is awful anywhere but reception and even there drops frequently. Not a great loss if part of your trip is to disconnect. Reasonable rates I think and the food is good.

I thought to myself that such a hotel must be an outstanding hotel, and indeed I was right. A very High class hotel with prices of an .economical one Your buck goes a long way in terms of: location quality, cleanliness, facilities, comfort, staff and free internet. From the moment you enter you feel luxury, the staff is amazing!! And it is clear that the hotel has a very high standarts of service, the staff really goes out of their way to give you the best experience, and it is clear that the guest's satisfaction is the top priority of the staff. It starts from Galiana at the reception. Carlos - in the dining room Elisabel - the coffee queen... And most of all the manager, Ishmael - What a charming guy, humble, full of kindness, personal charm and willingness to help. We stayed at the hotel for a week, and felt like family. Besides the great attitude, the hotel is beautiful, the service consciousness is very high, the rooms were also large, spacious and clean, and well equipped. There are two wonderful pools. Excellent restaurants - where there is a variety of food and exquisite service. The hotel is in a superb location; 10 minutes drive from the airport, and close to the city center - to all restaurants, travel agencies, shops, and in front of a bank, where there is also an ATM machine. In short, an unforgettable experience. And to top it all off, since we missed a flight, and had to purchase new plane tickets for the next evening - they allowed us to check out in the evening at no extra cost. There are many pictures I took on this trip, but the one that is closest to my heart is the one where I took a picture with the manager, Ishmael. !!!Highly recommend

While the Waira Hotel is considered to be the best hotel in Leticia, I was not very impressed. They have a terrible internet connection so don't be dependent on having a connection. I could not access wifi in my room. There is no hot water in the rooms. The bed was not average. The A/C is a split unit on the wall and in some rooms it blows pretty strongly onto the bed. Since they only provide a sheet, it can get cold with the A/C turned on. I slept with the A/C turned off and then it go too hot. Most of the rooms don't have a window to the outside. Instead the window faces the hallway. Breakfast was not that great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

we stayed there for only one night when we returned from our trip to the Amazon. the place is located well, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the breakfast choice is better than in most other places we stayed. the only negative point was the staff. we felt as if they could have cared a bit more. we really had trouble booking flights because of the bad internet connections and when I asked them if I could use one of their computers they reacted annoyed & said that they do not have internet connection either - how if you can book a room via booking?!

I lived 2 years in Waira and always felt at home. The staff is extra friendly and Ismael, the then manager, was always superb, as was Luis, in charge of tourism and many other useful data. They took great care of me during the pandemic. The rooms are good and the service staff extremely competent. Bfast is a great buffet with local products and a normal lunch and dinner is the best in town, for business or private. And the pool is fantastic in the hot climate. Oh, internet is poor, but its not their fault; the whole town is the same. Highly recommended!

No hay palabras para describir la atención que recibí en este hotel. Felizmente sorprendida. La calidez de Ismael, el gerente, demuestra su amor por su trabajo y el hotel. Las habitaciones y piscinas son muy agradables, cuentan con operador turístico propio para contratar actividades, el bar es de diez, y la zona es muy tranquila de noche, descansé profundamente. La comida? Espectacular. La patarashka de pirarucu, los desayunos y los jugos hacen que visitar el restaurante sea obligatorio incluso si no eres huesped. Vine a Leticia a evaluar lugares, pues soy agente de viajes, y este hotel y restaurante definitivamente estarán e mi portafolio. Como un plus, tienen dos bancos en frente: BBVA y Banco de Bogotá, ideal porque en Leticia hay pocos cajeros y se necesita cargar con efectivo.

Una grandiosa experiencia en el amazonas, que nunca había disfrutado, el hotel muy agradable y el personal muy amable y siempre dispuestos a ayudar, muy encantador, una recomendación especial no tanto vasos desechables, existe la posibilidad de que sean de papel o vidrio

Estuve en Wairas en marzo de 2022. Es un lugar limpio, tranquilo, excelente servicio, personas afables. Su gerente me ayudó en muchos tramites. Siempre volveria. Y estoy muy agradecido por toda la ayuda recibida.

Llegamos al hotel, mucha caminata, excelente atención y alimentación. Muy lento la entrega de la habitación. Excelente los tours. Habitaciones muy cómodas, diversidad de lugares para conocer, amabilidad de sus empleados.
