Luxury Spa Hotel Olympic Palace

I enjoyed the stay very much, the hotel is very nice, clean and relaxing, desk service and SPA stuff are professional and very friendly, breakfast with the wide choice of dishes. You should know that there is an elevation to get to the hotel (for me it's not a problem). I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were at the hotel on the weekend and we really enjoyed it, the hotel is very clean, the level of service is among the highest I've experienced, the hotel is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent and varied, all the staff are kind, they help with a smile, we had massages, and it was great, the hotel is located close to everything, large clean and beautiful rooms . 5 star high class hotel. There is no doubt that we will return to him again

Great time at the hotel. Trea**ent stay with a full board is recommended. Staff is very attentive to customer requests. Thank you administration for returning buffet option instead of La Carte. Planing to come back this year again for the 5th time.

We stayed at the hotel 4 times. And every time we like the hotel more and more. Great location, great food, friendly trained staff, wonderful Spa and medical care. I would especially like to mention Dr. P.Vykrystenko and Spa attendant Iveta Kempfova for their professionalism and attitude to work. We hope to visit you next year.

We spent 3 weeks at Olympic, 3 people in a suite superior on full board. Overall, our stay was excellent. We liked the spa,the massages,the absolutely great room, the double balcony with a beautiful city view and the quality of the amenities. The whole hotel is impeccably clean, modern, while keeping its classic charm. Most of the staff was efficient, friendly and attentive. They all spoke English at various levels and we had no problems communicating. Points of improvement: definitely the restaurant: at lunch and dinner, there's not enough variety and the service at dinner only is a hit and miss: although the opening times are 18-21, if you arrive at 20:30, you are terribly rushed and the staff makes you feel unwelcome. It would also be better to have a water pitcher on the table at all times and not to wait/ask for someone to offer. Second point of improvement: the gym. Completely underequipped and undersized. The quality of the existing equipment is also subpar for such a hotel where guests care about their health. Marginal point of improvement: the TV offering. Very few international channels (mostly Czech, Russian German) and no streaming apps to compensate. Our special thanks to Jiri, whose infinite patience and assistance made our great holiday possible .Then David at the restaurant who was always helpful and friendly as was "Kaneki" 😊(the blond boy at the restaurant). Grateful also to the best doctor, the spa nurses ( Hedvika and Adela) and the entire spa staff (mr. Szabo's massages will be missed). On our next stay, we will only book the treatments and limit our use of the restaurant to breakfast, we will get a gym subscription elsewhere, but will definitely return and recommend the hotel

The spa is a nigh**are. The lady who is supposed to help me had very bad attitude. No one showed when I was told I need a consultancy first before I book my facial. So I wasted 2 hours of my valuable time only try to figure out a very simple facial trea**ent and end up with nothing. Salt cave is only fake salt on the roof in a small room. Other than that, the hotelroom is good and clean. Food is good.

Luxury olímpic hotel, seriously? Wellness?? Most terrible and NON wellness nights I had on my trip. Be careful choosing this hotel, there are so many others much better. 1. Since I arrived I told the lady at reception I needed a quiet room. She gave me one aside the staff office and in front of the housekeeping room!!! Does this person knows the meaning of common sense? Obviously at 6.30 next day it was a great noisy ambience. 2. Phone was not working and reported for two consecutive days. Finally a person who was a nice employee went to my room and fix that (that is great attitude) 3. AC was not working, the fix that after waiting a little bit. Funny part is when I reported that, they replied “your room is 22.4 Celsius”, I actually stay freeze thinking what is the point of that comment, I just don’t care I want my room cooler, period!! 4. Internet is terrible I ran a test and it was 4 megs up and down. 5. Shades of the room were not working properly. 6. Coincidently at night Pillows were changed I don’t know why they did that but those were like rags. (Probably because I reported noisy ambience ha!). Also blackout shade on the side of the bed was moved so at 5.10 in the morning sun light was passing wakening me again. 7. This hotel has broken the first rule of a real luxury hotel “you request, they provide with courtesy” 8. I reported all this during the two nights I stay there….always same answer “ohhh I’m sorry”

Excellent 5 star hotel. Everything corresponds to a high level - location, accommodation, medical care and food. My wife and I visit this hotel every year and always enjoy it immensely. We will be back in September 2023.

This was my fifth visit to a spa hotel in Karlovy Vary and my first time to the Olympic Palace. The restaurant has a talented kitchen staff and the meals were by far the best I've had in KV. Good chance I was the only American staying there at the time and though many don't speak English, the front desk staff did. The staff was most impressive, especially front desk Anastasia, the General Manager, waiter Martin in the restaurant, thank you! They have a wonderful yoga teacher who comes in three times a week, thank you Zuzana! If you're American and used to hour long trea**ents, you might be disappointed about the trea**ents in a room-spa package. The procedures are brief, averaging 20 minutes. If you want a long massage, book it as extra. My favorite trea**ent is the salt cave which is closer to one hour, one came with my package and I bought an extra one. My lungs felt more clear after. I started out in a basic comfort category room and the site said had rooms had 'shower or bath'. When I was shown the room with a shower I asked to move but learned there's just one room in that category with a tub and it was booked. The only room available that weekend with a tub was a suite and they wanted a hundred euros per night. No. After two nights, a room came available with a tub in a higher category and I agreed to 50 euros extra per night. Both of those rooms were under the childrens playroom. I was moved to a suite the last night on the first floor because my fourth floor neighbors were loud. The suite was quiet, I loved it. The fitness room is limited to a few pieces of cardio equipment. But overall thanks to the fine staff, wonderful restaurant, yogo instructor Zuzana and the salt cave, I'm glad to have had the chance to stay there and recommend the hotel, especially if you prefer a shower! :)
