Excellent place to stay on Isabela Island. Walking distance to the port Restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and flamingo park. Front desk folks are so very nice and Tawney, the young man who is always available to assist with anything speaks fluid English. There’s water outside to rinse your shoes if you do the volcano tour or turtle tour there is soda and water to buy. However, you can walk 100 feet and buy it for half the price but it is convenient to have close at hand. Air-conditioning works great hot water great And fresh fruit grown there for breakfast. Purified water always available. Breakfast has specific times. Coffee is ready and hot very early and the services is excellent. Construction going on next door but you will be gone during the day. Would stay there every time on Isabel island. Enjoy!

We stayed at the Grand Hostal Tintorera in 2021 and again last year when we returned to Isabela. The proprietor, Cecilia, and her husband were very warm and friendly, and even picked us up from the port and dropped us off after our stay. The rooms were spacious, great value, and close to everything we needed. I could not recommend them enough.

We spent a night here. It is quite conveniently located and affordable. Our breakfast was included, which was quite useful as we had an early start. The grounds and rooms are nice and clean. The owner is friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel for the price! If you are expecting 5 star quality this is not the hotel for you but it has comfy and clean rooms with good wifi for the Galapagos. It is within walking distance of the beach and Cecilia is excellent! I really enjoyed my time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone I know! They turn around laundry pretty fast for a reasonable price of $1 a kg and they offered tours at the best prices. If you are looking for charm I would stay here!

Internet regular como en casi toda la Isla (Isabella). No tiene restaurant. A 5 cuadras de la playa. Buen asesoramiento en relación a Tours. Habitación cómoda y buen aire acondicionado. Cerca ,a la vuelta varios restaurants y verdulerías.

La atención es buena,el desayuno bien aunque temprano (de 6.40 a 8 am) Lo que le falta al hostal es que cada habitación tenga su heladerita justamente por las altas temperaturas. La Sra Cecilia y Antonny atienden de maravillas y asesoran tours
