This is my 2nd December holiday at Vista do Mar and I enjoyed it more than ever before. Great location, superb food and very efficient staff that took care of us at the lodge! Lots to do in the Barra region with great pubs and a beautiful beach to enjoy, literally in front of the lodge. in the past we enjoyed taking a drive to the various restaurants and pubs in the area, but this year we found ourselves not wanting to leave Vista, due to the convenience, great service and superb location.

It was very good. We have enjoyed it. Service was very good. Friendly staff and very helpful. Will recommend to others to stay. It is a beautiful place. The food was good. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Wow what a great holiday again at Vista do Mar. Thanks to everyone at the lodge. It was one to remember. Definitely a place to book for your holiday. The lodge has some of the best scenery in Bara and best service. Thanks again see you all in 2 years time.

My holiday was just incredible, from the outstanding service of being doted on for my entire week's trip at Vista Do Mar, to the incredible meals I had. I was spoilt with Crayfish, Calamari, Fish and a constant spread of delicious breakfast treats. With the Beach sand practically touching your toes as you climb out of bed, and 2 different pools to choose from to dip in, I will most definitely be back again. Thank you for making my holiday extra special

If you are looking for a family or friends getaway this is the perfect luxury lodge. What's nice is they have fly-in option (private charter plane - 19 seater) direct from Lanseria to Inhambane (less then 2hr flight), makes it a perfect long weekend destination. The lodge has all luxury sea facing rooms with fabulous lounge/patio area up and downstairs of the lodge. There are 2 swimming pools with beach loungers and umbrellas which look directly onto the beach. We had 17 ladies for the trip and was honestly one of the best trips I have done. The breakfasts and dinners were fantastic and the staff are just SUPERB!!! We have already pre-booked our trip for 2023 :)

This lodge is one of the best places in Mozambique. Accommodation is excellent and staff is very helpful. Meals is also very nice. The setting every night looking out at the sea lets you feel like you are in another world. Great place will definitely go there again.

Friendly staff, awesome food, great service! Lovely venue, fabulous views, amazing sunsets, pristine beachfront. Marine paradise for snorkelling, diving, angling and scenic cruises. Quad biking, jet skiing, beach walks, jogs, games and local pubs all add to a rich tapestry of fun and a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you Gys, Schantel, Celia and staff for a truly memorable stay!

Speechless! Everything was perfect. From the moment of my arrival until departure. The lodge managers and the staff were hands-on and always there to assist and serve. It was an amazing experience! Will definitely recommend this hotel / lodge to everyone!
