Lusty BEG Island

Lustybeg you were a pleasure. From the moment we disembarked your ferry to leaving your beautiful unique island 4 days later we had nothing but fun and relaxation. Your facilities are superb. Your staff are helpful and friendly especially Emily, Nathan and Callum. Nothing is ever too much bother and they make you feel special. I hope staff are rewarded for their friendly, energetic attitude. The spa facilities are fab. The salon for hair and makeup an excellent addition. My daughters wedding planner had every box ticked and whizzed around ensuring all was going to plan, which it did. The food was cooked and delivered beautifully without fail throughout the stay. Accomodation on the island is comfortable and well presented. I almost don't want to give this review and keep this gem of a place my little guilty pleasure. The bars have a nice atmosphere and a cosy olde world feel to them. Even have a little bit of live music on a weekend. Well Done Lusty

We visited Lusty Beg over the Easter break and stayed in a 3 bedroom Inish Lodge. The lodge was very spacious and had a great view over the lake. Ours was number 31 and ideally located! Everything was very clean! The lodges come equipped with a good kitchen with tonnes of equipment, a dishwasher, washing machine and even a log burning stove with some fire logs to use for this! We done a variety of activities while there which the whole family enjoyed! The swimming pool was really good and we booked a time a time slot before we arrived for this. The bar and restaurant area are nice and child friendly. All the staff very pleasant and helpful! Can’t wait to return!

Calming surroundings with great views. Warm welcome and staff excellent throughout. Enjoyed the pool . Had a great meal at the restaurant and enjoyed breakfast. Have no problem with the dog friendly attitude but I do take exception to the animals in the restaurant. If this policy is to remain I would suggest the resort provide a dog free area in the restaurant , not too much to ask?.

Stayed one night arrived got to the room superior suite ....just a double bed .the pillow case had dried blood on it I pulled back the covers the mattress made me gag it was covered in yellow stains and they tried to cover it up with a mattress protector. I had to sleep on the outside of the duvet and cover myself with towels.old Cork bottle top sitting on the floor and the dust on the bed side tables had not cleaned for some time.couldnt bring myself to use the other facility.

My wife and I (and our 2 dogs)visited this lovely bar/restaurant while visiting Enniskillen. The bar is warm and welcoming. The servers were very friendly and even brought ot sausages for our furry kids. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. It was a really great experience and will definitely return.

Arrived at Lusty Beg and straight away we got a warm friendly welcome from the boat man. He directed us on and of the boat with a smile, he was smiling every time we seen him. Check-in was quick, and information about the island was provided by a friendly member of staff. Breakfast was included, the choice of food and quality was great. They even prepared porridge for me, when I asked. The bar had music every evening we were there. Whilst there were plenty of cars at the various accommodations, it never appeared crowded. We booked bike hire and clay pigeon shooting before we arrived. Once there, we were able to change the time with no issue. All staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. We had booked a superior courtyard room, no: 48. Unfortunately, the room could have been a little cleaner, as we found something on the mat beside the bed. I would recommend you bring some form of eye wear for night, as curtains are not blackouts and don't cover the full window. There wasn't very much storage for clothes, what I assume was the wardrobe, would not hold very much and there were no drawers, just a few box shelves that again wouldn't hold very much. There a a trunk, I don't know if that was for clothes, but I don't see why you would take clothes from a suitcase to put them into a trunk. Overall, we had a lovely time. Great food, warm and welcoming staff. Just the room was a let down.

We had the pleasure of spending the weekend on the island as a group retreat. The staff were so welcoming and extremely accommodating to any requests. Accommodation was warm, welcoming and comfortable. The food:…. Don’t think I’ve eaten as much in my life! Breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold dishes. Lunch and dinner were plentiful and tasty. A shout out to Rory for arranging a wee boat tour for a small group of us, special drinks & most of all just food craic!! Nothing was a bother at all; he is an asset to the island. Thanks to all staff who looked after us, we had a great weekend!

Wonderful all round - fab location, rooms, meals, walks, views and setting. Breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Went for a couple of nights on a groupon deal. The staff were very friendly and helpful without being 'in your face', and it was fun going to and from on the wee ferry. We definitely plan to return. Even the weather was great in February!!

This is one of the most tranquil places we have stayed. The island is beautiful and extremely relaxing. Our room had a view of the lake and was only a few minutes walk to the bar and restaurant. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We stayed for one night but the next time we visit it will definitely be for longer. Couldn't fault it at all. 5*
