The location is perfect with lots of nice places to eat in a short safe walk and the customer service from the staff was excellent. The property is under major renovations so be prepared for some inconvenience but, the rooms are clean and currently the parking is free. I cannot wait to see to see it completely finished.

You really get what you pay for…the best part about the stay was being able to walk back from the bar. THE HOTEL IS NO LONGER REALLY A PART OF THE TRAIN STATION. Online photos and reviews were very deceiving since many people rated it well due to visiting the station, not the hotel itself.
Construction everywhere. It feels like a motel in every way. Not at all what was advertised. We even had creepy phone messages at night. Not kidding. Employees were kind at least. Will not return.

The Hotel Chalet is in the perfect location for visiting the downtown Chattanooga area as well as access to the chickamauga battlefield. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful; very clean rooms, well maintained facility. We enjoyed the Train theme and the way the decor was done for the room. Within walking distance to various restaurant options. We will return without a doubt.

We stayed in one of the trains, it was a great comfortable and unique experience. If you are coming to Chattanooga I recommend Hotel Chalet 10/10. Their customer service was phenomenal and everything was very clean.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Hotel Chalet! The decor was beautiful & the staff was so helpful & accommodating. They definitely go out of their way to make your stay as great as it can be! The rooms were clean & extremely spacious, & the beds & pillows were so comfortable. You really can't beat the location right there at the Choo Choo. We had a wonderful time & will absolutely be back!! You should go, it is so worth it!

A beautifully restored hotel in a convenient location. Met Brad Baker in the lobby who introduced us the his Front Desk team. Checkin went quickly with directions to a wonderfully appointed room. We were surprised at how large the room was, complete with a two person patio. Highly recommend the Hotel Chalet.

Wonderful showers and roomy bathroom!! Very Comfortable beds & pillows. Love the dimmers on the lights. Huge TVs. Friendly & helpful staff. Great location, easy walk to free city shuttle. Highly recommend. Caution though, Cokes are $6 for a bottle.

Still under construction and renovations, so you may want to wait until Fall. Much of the layout is closed off due to renovations where there should be easy pathways to different areas outside of the train cars. The train cars themselves are ok - the walls are very thin, but the water pressure in the shower is great (not so much for the sink). There are no USB ports in the deluxe sleeper cars as described. No wash cloths, just body and hand towels. The surrounding restaurants within walking distance are very nice. The regular hotel rooms are probably a better bang for the buck for now. 2 or 3 star hotel, at best, until the property is completely finished with upgrades.

When I originally book I thought I booked a room in the train cars since that is what is advertised. I had issue after issue during my 2 night experience. Chris and Corey are the best in hospitality!!! If no one else makes you feel welcome these two definitely will!!!! They made my visit better despite the issues with hair on towels, and toilets not working. Communication is horrible with the team.
