Tom Price Tourist Park

A well presented park. Check in is after 12pm as they like to do watering and gardening during the day. The laundry and showers were excellent. There is some railway noise at any hour due to the industrial nature of the town. The park has a nice backdrop with Mt Nameless. The town of Tom Price is well presented. The caravan park is 2km away.

Had an amazing time here. Right next to walking track to Mt Nameless, which is not an easy climb but incredible views over the town and surrounding areas. Stayed in a budget cabin, which was great for the price. Excellent amenities. Best of all were the staff. Friendly and helpful reception staff, and Craig and Deb running the place were brilliant. I discovered I had a flat tyre on the morning of my departure, and Craig went and got his own air compressor to get some air into the tyre to enable me to get down the road to the mechanic to have it repaired (even went off to get another battery when the compressor battery ran out). Hopefully will make it back here some day, and highly recommend Tom Price Tourist Park to anyone who is visiting the Pilbara.

Very clean amenities, grassy powered sites with dappled shade, good camp kitchen. Washing machines and dryers very efficient, a few kilometres out of town, no noise from passing traffic, helpful friendly reception staff. A great place to spend a couple of nights to do a tour of Tom Price mine and perhaps a 4wd bus tour of Karrijini to see the places 2wd vehicles can't reach.

We stayed at the Tom Price caravan park en route to Onslow after a trip up through Lal etc. Fantastic park, staff were super helpful, lovely pool and very clean amenities, great place to base yourself before Karajini or as you're travelling through if you want some r and r.

Tom Price tourist park was quiet a surprise. Did not expect it to be so quiet & peaceful. Spacious sites some with concrete slabs. The amenities are dated but the water is hot. For the hot days there’s a swimming pool.

We stay two nights in aGreen unit where we found the reception on arrival from airport transfer very unhelpful. We had no transport and this tourist “RESORT “ had no food available for sale accept Mrs Mac frozen pies. We asked was there any way we could get into town to shop food for next two day. No the room was very spare for $270 per night. Give it a miss typical mining town do not care attitude.

The only caravan park in Tom Price. The towns sewerage works is close by so can be a bit smelly. There is really nothing to do there so if you are wanting to visit Karajini national Park which is beautiful it would be better to stay out there as it is about 90km from Tom Price.

Overpriced and staff very lacking. Our needs were not met and very little care shown for what we wanted. One of the highest prices we have paid and water and power were a long way from our site. Power was 10 amp and kept tripping.

Dotazione datata ed incuria della manutenzione, rubinetti impossibili da usarsi, doccia soffione bucato per cui metà acqua non ti giunge ma spara verso il muro.In due una forchetta ed hai fino alle 6 pm per sottolineare il disservizio: poi devi aspettare l’indomani. È saltato il wifi? Chissenefrega forse ti diciamo qualcosa domani oppure no. Invii una mail? Se non si tratta di soldi per i quali ti assillano durante la prenotazione e i giorni a venire ( ti scrivono che se non paghi tutto non ti garantiscono la tariffa per cui hai prenotato) non vieni preso in considerazione. Per tre giorni ti “omaggiano” al prezzo di 295 aud(175€ a notte, al Novotel di Bali 87€) di sei bustine di caffè liofilizzato da 17 gr con il cartello che non ti verrà dato altro. Muri sporchi ragnatele ovunque ma sono furbi perché sfruttano la presenza del parco Karijini. Vicini poi è una barzelletta : 105 km per ingresso west e 126 per ingresso east. Se questa è la politica di Summerstar, consiglio di aggiungere al logo la dicitura Proudly Australian method. Contatteremo sicuramente Summerstar visto che ho altre 8 prenotazioni in varie zone del WA
