Stord Hotel

Very good service and pleasant staff. Super restaurant where both breakfast and dinner maintain a high standard. Vikjo bad is a wonderful wellness department with pool, jacuzzi and sauna. My room was newly renovated with a very good bed. TV where you can use your own account on NetFlix, TV2 Play and Apple is an added bonus.

Currently staying at this hotel while doing some classes at HVL (western Norway university of applied sciences). The hotel is just a short walk from the city center, and a 10 minute drive to school. Great parking options outside the hotel The staff here are very friendly, I am always greeted with a big smile. They seem eager to help with questions, both about the hotel, but also about the city.. Booking a single room is always exciting when traveling. I’ve experienced rooms where you can barely move outside the bed. But these rooms at Stord Hotel are spacious and have room for clothes, both folded and hanged. The bathrooms are clean and have room for big makeup bags next to the sink (yay) As I was about to leave one morning I got to chat with the cleaning staff which also were super helpful. Breakfast were good. A various amount of food to choose from without feeling that the hotel is throwing away a lot of food every day. They have a pool, although I haven’t used it due to lack of time Already looking forward to my next stay :-)

We stayed at the Stord Hotel over East weekend and found this hotel to rival any large city hotel. The spa was great and the staff always willing to service. I especially want to call out Adriatic as he was a tremendous host and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.

Very Spacious and clean rooms. Good spread at the breakfast table. Large parking area available and is free. Has a good restaurant for an evening meal. Walking distance to the city centre Close to the Aker Solutions yard

Our first stay in Stord Hotel. Parking is ample and for those of us with an electric car there are 4-5 free charging stations under a roof just outside the reseption which curiously enough is located at the rear side of the building. The staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is good. The serving staff know how to adjust their behaviour to the customers preference. I noticed that a very unformal and friendly who served at our table was very much more formal at another table. They have just a very few wines on the menu but be advised that they have some 1500 in their cellar. I got one of those recommended dt my choise of food. All together the stay has been extremely pleasant so far..

I have stayed here several times, as this is THE hotel in Leirvik. The newly decorated rooms are great. The rest seem a bit dated (80s, with a touch of nightclub to it). The restaurant is absolutely worth a visit.

Nice and renewed hotel with a good location in Leirvik on Stord. The staff was very kind and service minded and had good knowledge. Nice spacious room and very good beds . The breakfast was superb. Just go there.

Okay hotel, very clean nothing to complain. However it looks like the restaurant is not open during weekends, which is a bit strange as guests have to have dinner outside, especially during the summer holiday season. But nothing else to complain about!

Als je aan komt rijden dan lijkt het niet veel. En als je dan ook om de buitenkant heen loopt omdat de ingang lastig te vinden is dan denk je dat het niks is. Maar wat een mooi hotel. Parkeren is gratis en er zijn meer dan genoeg plekken. De kamer was zeer zeker goed. Niet zoals op de foto's van hun website maar wel goed genoeg. Tv, mooie badkamer, lekker bed. We hadden een kamer aan de zijkant. Jammer genoeg uitzicht op de doorgaande weg. En dat was wel te merken aan het geluid in de nacht. Van die patser auto's die de hele tijd op en neer rijden. Aan de overkant zitten wat restaurants (o.a een pizzeria). Ook tot laat allemaal auto's die iets komen afhalen, toeterende bezorgers enz. Het ontbijt was lekker en goed verzorgd. Omdat onze hond mee was zaten we aan een tafeltje in de lobby. Genoeg keuze uit broodjes, beleg enz. Maar ook hier weer niet veel zoetigheid. Geen jam en als je chocopasta wou dan moest je dat uit een pot lepelen. Niet handig. Het plaatsje Stord / leirvik ligt op loopafstand. Maar toen wij er waren was er niet veel te beleven. De meeste horeca was dicht en er was nagenoeg niks te doen. Ook weer omdat een hond niet de eetzaal in mag, zijn we wat te eten gaan halen en hebben we dit op de kamer genuttigd. Allemaal geen probleem. Gezien de ligging is dit hotel wel fijn als tussenstop. Ik zou er geen langere tijd verblijven. Maar voor een nacht was het heel goed.
