Springbok Inn

The stay at Springbok Inn was lovely. The officials at the Inn was really helpful, solved a room problem very quickly, the waiters in the restaurant were also very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was really well prepared and one could eat as much as you liked. The waiters were very thoughtful to come to your table and ask if there is anything they could further assist you with or if you still wed something on your food plate & they would also inform few minutes before the closing time of the restaurant for the guests. The location of the Inn is well set and there are no noise pollution of some sort to disturb the guests peace and quiet time. It is easy to find the hotel at night and during the day. Things they may attend to is: The outside air conditioning (makes noise at night), attend to the maintenance of bathrooms and the doors of it. The single beds are quite small and maybe slightly be attended to in the future for bigger 3 quarter bed. Overall was the service delivery satisfying and I will recommend a person to stay there and I will also stay their again. Great Job!!!👏👏👏 See you again!

Generally not a ver welcoming hotel. The rooms are very basic, not really clean (corners, curtains etc), bathroom full of mould, bedding was at least clean. Hotel is quite new, but you can see the lack of maintenance everywhere (broken tiles etc) Breakfast was ok. There are better options in/around Springbock.

Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, comfortable bed, conveniently situated hotel. BUT wine list bore no resemblance to what was actually available in the restaurant, and it was a great disappointment at breakfast to find only decaf instant coffee or rooibos teabags available. Breakfast was precooked cooling congealed eggs , nothing done freshly.

Hands down the worst place ive ever stayed. Staff are largely incompetent, we were given incorrect room keys, walked in on a family, met with misery when we went to talk to reception. Supper cold after a 1,5 hr wait, restaurant was by no means busy. Wifi non existent. At breakfast no cutlery and staff couldnt care less. Drive another 2 hours if you have to.

Spoilt and pampered since we arrived on the Friday until we left very early on Sunday morning. We arrived as a group on Friday (to see Steve Hofmeyrs show on the Saterday night). Our rooms were spotless and had a lovely view. Staff spoilt us with a warm boma fire and cosy blankets. On the Saterday we all went for a walk "in the koppies" around hotel and took plenty scenic photos. We had so much fun and felt spoilt, even when Eskom tried to damper our festive mood the generator kicked in with no noise but a purr. Breakfast was amazing! Wish we could stay for a week. Price quoted on internet not the same as price invoiced. Terrible road to the hotell. Too many stairs which are very slippery when wet. Absolutely not safe for the elderly. DSTV did not work properly. Restaurant exstremely expensive.. Balcony full of bird pooh. Not cleaned.

We stayed at the Springbok Inn for two nights in early January 2023. Our very reasonable room rate included an excellent breakfast each morning. We opted to dine in the restaurant for both dinners as well and enjoyed the food and awesome service from Nadine. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely stay again if in the area in the future.

This is the mail I have send to the management of Namastad Caravan Park ( Springbok Inn, Springbok, NC) Hallo I have stayed over at the Namastad Caravan Park for two nights ( 22 and 23 Aug 2022). I really have nothing good to say about this caravan park and if this is a reflection of what I am going to get at the Springbok Inn, I doubt if you would ever see me there. I have the following complaints and some suggestions: 1. The camp terrain is not neat al all, especially in flower season. 2. The kitchen where campers are supposed to wash their dishes, is filthy . 3. No hot water in the kitchen ( I have checked that the geyser is ON ) 4. Men's bathroom is never clean. 5. One urinal is blocked. 6. NO mirrors only screws against the walls where the once were. 7. Shower heads spray water on the whole floor. The shower cubicles are so big, you can easily install shower curtains so that part of it stays dry. 8. Only two shower had little benches in. 9. Only one hook for towels, clothes, etc against the walls. This was my second time and the first time was a little better – there were still mirrors. You have asked me to share my experience on TripAdvisor. I will do so. I doubt if management ever visit the facility. This was my second time at Namastad Caravan park, but surely the last time.
