This hotel has now become a home away from home. The standard room size is good and is spacious enough for the price you pay. The rooms have a good bathroom, with Japanese toilet, and a space to hang clothes. In addition each room comes with an iron and ironing board just to tidy up your appearance before you depart. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, providing assistance for whatever you need. Breakfast has a range of food to get you ready for the day after a very comfortable sleep in their bed. As a regular guest, I've been provided the luxury of staying in one of their biggest rooms and, being over 6', is one of the best beds I've slept in in Shanghai. The location is about 10 minutes from the subway, which is on top of a mall, 15 minutes drive from Laoweijie (a street with several Western style restaurants and bars). Alternatively, little Tokyo is only a 15 minute walk away with some excellent Whiskey bars. If that's not your style, there are plenty of local shops and restaurants to fulfill your needs. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to stay a little off-centre in Shanghai which is close to Hongqiao airport and train station.
