L'Auberge de Sedona

Welcoming ambience & front desk staff after a 2hr drive from Phoenix airport. Creekside Cottage #5 afforded plenty of restful, quiet privacy while listening to creek just below us. Room decor & furnishings (inside & out) were tasteful and comfortable. A portion of our deck was covered for easy outdoor room service dining or enjoying evening wine. Beds & bedding are top notch; providing deep, rejuvenating sleep. Toiletries are deluxe (L'Occitane) & robes are comfy & warm. It was nice/novel to enjoy an outdoor shower on a warm fall afternoon. A wood fire was laid in the master bedroom fireplace daily with plenty extra firewood, if needed. Housekeeping was excellent. Extra kudos to room service staff, Housekeeping, Firestarter guys, concierge and valet drivers for their friendly, personable, excellent work. Reservations were easy (used hotel agent thru their website) booked 6 months in advance since it's starting to get busy. Cress restaurant offers magnificent natural creekside dining experience & good servers; but the quality and preparation of its food is sadly overpriced & poorly prepared.. have a cocktail; watch the ducks; enjoy the gurgle of the water; but eat your dinner elsewhere. The grounds & pool are VERY well maintained - enjoyed walking the many pathways and their bronze sculptures. Would definitely return for another week!

L’Auberge de Sedona was an absolute dream getaway. My mom and I had a mother-daughter weekend and this property had a huge impact in our wonderful time away! Everywhere you turn, there’s a picturesque photo op, and it is so quiet and serene. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Every staff member was unbelievably accommodating, helpful and friendly. It started with Marguerite who greeted us with a friendly face and details on where to go next when we got to the property. Preston at the front desk who not only got us into our room early but also gave us a great hike recommendation! Rafael, one of the restaurant managers was so friendly and conversational at the beautiful creek side restaurant, and if you can, ask for Blair as your server; he was so engaging and genuine and was a great part of our wonderful dinner (which was delicious!)! Travis took care of us at the beautiful pool, made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us some wine recommendations. And finally, the entire valet staff were always so helpful and ready to grab our car. Don’t miss this beautiful property and phenomenal getaway when you’re in Sedona!

L'Auberge Sedona has been one of my favorite places to stay. I have been coming here for years, and when my dog was alive and traveled with me - they were really good to her. They welcomed her by name and always had her favorites in our cottage. The staff, the grounds, the cottages and rooms, the spa and the restaurant and bar - are all 5 star. I Love coming here for some downtime and to recharge! Classy and kind - I love the personal service and attention versus snoody boody attitudes you get at some resorts in Scottsdale. Absolute luxury. Bonus - you can walk up the back way to the town and get some great exercise to the shops, cafes, bars.... and fun in town!

L'auberge de Sedona exceeded my expectations. We stayed at L'auberge for 2 nights and 3 days after being in flagstaff. Check in was quick and efficient, we received a map and rundown of the resort, in addition they ran through the amenities from the FHR, and gave us an upgrade from the vista cottages to vista suites. The view from the suites was stunning, normally a hotel's photos upsell what views they have, but I can honestly say they are the exact same views in person. After arriving at the room, we took a stroll through the grounds to Cress for lunch, and all of the dishes were excellent. I personally had the Rigatoni with Pancetta, Peas and Parmesan and added shrimp, well worth it, as were the mussels. We ate there again for dinner and had a similarly amazing experience. After dinner we all went to the stargazing which is a must do at this resort, Dennis is amazingly quick-witted, funny, and engaging. His knowledge in the area is exceptional. He provides equipment for amazing close-up views during his session. All of us had some type of spa treatment while at L'Auberge, and everyone came back relaxed and raving, I had a 60 minute deep tissue, and my wife did a 90 minute facial combo. The spa staff we friendly and knowledgeable and very ready to help. Overall the staff, especially the valet team, all exceeded expectations. They were all friendly and ready to help with any request that was made. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering it. Its far more intimate and personal than Enchantment ever could be.

L'Auberge was at the top of the Amex Platinum list for exceptional Sedona resorts. The perks were excellent using Amex Platinum and fit the bill for a short break for my husbands birthday. Everything about the resort was on point. None of the excuses we have grown to accept as the norm for the last two years - management of this resort has their act together. Fully staffed, everyone attentive. Happy people who engage with the guests. From the Valet to Housekeeping, all Staff smiling and helpful. Clean clean clean. A lovely location. Rides around town if you didn't want to drive. Our cottage had such a wonderful view of the creek from the porch and such a peaceful vibe, we didnt mind the rain. Great food, great cocktails, wonderful room service. Grounds were immaculate. Highly recommend. This is an expensive resort and Sedona is an expensive town but L'Auberge delivers excellence for the price. We have already booked a return visit. Its that good.
