Freshwater Bnb

We had a really nice stay the rooms are clean and comfortable and the little extras were just wonderful touches that just felt so welcoming. Would highly recommend it is close to everything walking distance to the beach and restaurants thank you for having us will come again.

We were slightly underwhelmed with freshwater bnb. After reading the glowing reviews we were really looking forward to our stay. The bathroom was tiny and ours had a cracked sink and mould around the taps. The bedside lamps were so dim that we had to use the torch on our phone to read in bed ! The breakfast was very basic with bread, jams and cereals but no croissants or cheeses or yoghurts, also there was no fruit platter which was advertised. In the 4 days we were there we never set eyes on Scott (the host). Overall quite disappointing.

Stayed 2 nights in the garden suite ground floor. Room was spacious with sitting area inside and out. Very private. Large tv with Netflix, google assist and excellent wifi. Bathroom excellent with great water pressure and lots of toiletries. Breakfast is a help yourself setup, everything provided, bread, eggs, fruit lots of condiments and you have access to the kitchen to prepare your own. Tea and coffee also available from here day and night. Great setup. This bed and breakfast is wonderfully run with so many little touches to make your stay special. Bikes available to use. Restaurants and beach only approx 3min walk. Lots of choice. Thank you so much Scott and Wayne for a special stay and the birthday treat. Highly recommended and would love to go back.

Clean and well appointed b&b. We enjoyed the a**osphere. There is a fabulous kitchen available to guests. Very private. Suitable for couples looking for an ideal getaway retreat that is close to the beach and restaurants. Street parking doesn’t detract due to the quiet location. Certainly would stay again.

Felt like a home away from home for us - if our home was beautifully appointed, super clean and well stocked with extras! The breakfast setting and spread was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Freshwater BnB to anyone visiting Hervey Bay.

We stayed for two nights. Great location close to beach, shops,cafe. Rooms are 5 star. Breakfast is very well catered for. Tranquil surroundings. Great host, friendly and welcoming. No hesitation to stay again and recommend family and friends to stay.

What a wonderful place to call home when visiting Hervey Bay. We were only there as a stopover on a roadtrip but will definitely return for longer. Beautiful room (Torquay), tasty breakfast with so much variety, and many thoughtful touches throughout. Scott is great, and the property is right at the beach and café precinct. Private rooms all with ensuite so you feel like you have the place to yourself. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Lovely stay. Scott was really welcoming and flexible with room bookings. The B n B was a cosy place to retreat after a day visiting older family members and I chatted to some interesting guests. Great location near the Esplanade and the rooms had some character. I liked the breakfast and access to a kitchen during the day. I hope to stay again in 2023.

Absolutely well thought out and comfortable experience. The host is really friendly and all the small touches go a long way into making this place comfortable, there is free water, plenty of towels, a/c, hot chocolate machine, barista coffee machine, a fully equipped kitchen that we can use if we want to. Plenty of complimentary tea and coffee available all day. The breakfast is lovely, so many different options, its not cooked, its more like a selection of fruit and bread, but there are eggs and pancake mix available to make your own and then you just put everything in the dishwasher its super easy. Im sure the host would happily make it for you if you asked. It was a really comfy spacious room, and we had everything we needed. Washing machine and clothes drying rack also available for free. Plenty of parking too. I would highly recommend this place, you can tell the owner takes great pride in offering such a well thought out and comfortable place to stay. Its really lovely and its something you don’t see very often nowadays. Thank you for a lovely stay!
