Red Roof Inn Mansfield

We arrived at the Red Roof Inn after being dissatisfied at a nearby hotel. I was frustrated upon arrival, but Brittany at the front desk was so kind and patient with us. She found us a reasonable rate. When we couldn’t get our TV working, Brittany moved us across the hall where everything worked fine. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice hot shower Thanks to Brittany we have a new place to stay when we travel through Mansfield.

No frills here but sometimes you just need a safe place to stay without all the fuss. This hotel, conveniently located off of I-71 between Columbus and Cleveland, is near several fast food and sit down restaurants and boasts a sparkling clean lobby, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and plenty of space for our two dogs. Coffee and tea are provided 24/7 in the lobby, and there is a dog walk area with poop bags! Although you could hear noise from other rooms while in the hallway, once in our room, it was peaceful and quiet. TIP: Ask for a room on the back side of the hotel for great woods views! I had some work to do, and it was such a pleasant experience to open the curtains and have nature (not a parking lot) for me and the dogs to enjoy before heading out to visit relatives. We will likely return to this hotel again!

We needed a place to stay overnight on our way through town. The room was clean. We did not have any issues during our stay. The hotel provided coffee and pastries in the morning. It was close to the interstate and was exactly what we needed. Would stay again.

The gentleman who checked me in was very efficient and friendly. Motel was clean and neat. For the first time ever, I made a waffle in the morning. It was in an easy to operate machine and made me wonder why I've never made waffles before. The room was well stocked with coffee, tea, cream, sugar & sweetener, as well as soap & shampoo. No Complaints

The hotel was updated nicely, very clean, and modern amenities. My wife loved the carpets throughout. Easy to get to location from the expressway. We will definitely return as we now have family nearby.

This was the worst service ever the worst hotel ever staff was rude they didn’t get a lot of things right they were having trouble checking people and checking people out there was just a lot of things that was wrong

Location is actually perfect! Upon arrival workers were very rude! Arrived at 4:18pm, check in is at 2 pm. They were scrambling around trying to get the room cleaned wihcih they didn’t do well at all! Mold all in the fridge and on air conditioner. Man at the counter also wanted to argue with my wife, stating we didn’t pay when we paid a week in advance, had to pull up my receipt. Do not recommend this place!!!!

I stayed here with a group of fast pitch softball players on arrival they put me in a smoking room and said it was requested but was not I've never smoked a day in my life. They would not move me said they couldn't because they were filled up, I finally got them to move me in the morning. The smoking room was dirty smelled and patched hole in the walls, refrigerator did not work and was wet inside and smelled awful. Bathroom was dirty toilet seat not clean mirror not clean as well. In the morning I backed my bus in to load my group and the desk guy came running out to tell me I couldn't load there because he has early check outs that would be leaving, I told him that I would be around if anyone needed to leave I would move the bus he got huffy took a couple of pictures and said I had 10 minutes, needless to say never staying there again or recommending them to anyone else!!!!!!!

Very rude staff, everything was broken (they knew about it), told me the Wi-Fi not working was a me problem. Said they were “tired of my s***” when I was nothing but nice. I pulled the sheets to check for bugs because of the condition of the room and bc of that I only got half of my money back.
