Small and pretty much perfect. Beautifully renovated rooms in period style, quiet, good bed, and with a dining room for those with their own food (no cooking). The manager was exceptionally helpful, thanks Keith. This was a find after a long day on the bike.

Great location in town with easy access to the start of the Twin Coast Trail either direction. Elliot and Izabela were excellent hosts, very obliging and friendly. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. A real bonus was the lockup space for our bikes on the property and a locked area over the road for our vehicle. Would definitely recommend

A delightful establishment which is like stepping back in time, but with all the modern day amenities. Very comfortable bed with crisp white sheets. The little touches like English china tea cups for my morning cuppa was the type of decor and attention to detail that makes this hotel stand out. The whole place sparkles and is clearly cared for. Such a shame there was no offer of dinner of breakfast, from their restaurant set up, which would have been much appreciated after a long day of travel. Even a simple menu of two or so items that are easy to whip up, rather than walking around an unfamiliar area at night looking for a decent takeaway meal. Despite this, it was a very comfortable stay and a good nights rest was had. Thank you Left Bank.

My mother and I stayed over 3 nights as we were in Kaikohe for a family event. The hosts were friendly and helpful, accommodating our varied requests during our stay. It was so nice coming back to a clean and tidy room to relax in after a long day. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful place and located conveniently in the heart of kaikohe surrounded by banks dairys supermarkets and shops all withen 5 minutes walking distance.room was 10/10 for comfort and cleanliness.hosts were super friendly and helpful,restaurant was amazing and presented beautifully 😍 thank you for a lovely stay.alexandra king

The facilities were excellent. The room was beautifully decorated to fit the era. The hosts very friendly and the cost was reasonable. I would recommend Left Bank as a warm and very comfortable place to stay.

Beautiful historic building with huge quiet well furnished rooms, friendly new management, excellent service. We ate in the newly reopened restaurant on the property and had a lovely romantic evening. It was perfectly located next to the bike path. Perfect weekend get away.

The bed was extremely comfortable, staff were very friendly. The Hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, so much history under one roof. I will definitely recommend this Hotel and will be staying here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Really enjoyed our stay . A lovely building and rooms were fantastic. Nice touches like the tea and coffee with quaint tea cups and beds were expansive and comfortable. There was a safe lock up for all our bikes and a pub down the road for a beer and pub dinner. Would definitely stay there again
