Hotel WIFI is very bad but better than the Regal Kowloon hotel. This Hotel group is not willing to invest on it infrastructure. The is no cable (lan) available for internet connection, suggest to use your own hotspot for internet. All restaurants except pub are still closed.

Although it is an old hotel, it has perfect scores in terms of location. It does not take you long to travel from anywhere in HK. The cleanliness level is superb (every day, I stayed there for a few nights), and you can expect great service from the front desk staff. As a bonus you can enjoy the great food in Kowloon City at a super affordable price.

The hotel has a good location and price, but it seems that the hotel is too old and poorly maintained. There is a musty smell in the room, and the mattress is not good enough, with springs that can be felt. The stand is rusty, some light bulbs in the room don't work, and there is a lot of mold on the bathroom walls. The silicone applied to the toilet is poor. The website photos and the actual appearance are really different.

First time staying here because friend recommended but a bit disappointed. I asked for upgrade and they did upgrade us to 14th floor which u have to climb 1 flr up and that's OK. Thanks for the upgrade 🙏 The things I am disappointed :- - First 2 days 1 of our towel with stain 😥 - most of the place is rusty 😫 - side of the toilet there's mold ☹️ - need to walk abt 10-15mins to train station depending on individual 😬 When I asked what is the difference between this 14th floor and other the front desk told me is new 🤔 The good thing is the cleaner name Eva is friendly and helpful and the guard Mr Thomas is superb friendly and helpful and help us on all our questions 👍👏🙏 BTW the room is quite big

The service was poor, there wasn't any microwave in the hotel and the staff who picked up the call was so rude.

The Regal Oriental hotel was OK..clean with complete facilities, so heaven living in this hotel.. But the most annoying part was there is no baggage counter to keep our luggages and important belongings. We booked this hotel for the Songkran Festival that we know it's more convient for us because it's just a few walk away from this celebration. IT Gave us trouble thinking where we could find a place to keep our lugagges.No enough staff to accomodate all request ,long time check-in also!! The most unforgettable experienced we ever had!!

the nearest mtr to regal oriental hotel is sung wong toi mtr station which is about a 10 minutes walk away from the hotel so if you are travelling with many luggages, it may be troublesome. there are several bus stops nearby that you can take but we are not familiar with the buses so we took the mtr instead. the eateries around the hotel sell many thai dishes so if you are looking for authentic hong kong cuisine, perhaps you can choose another hotel. the service is pretty good here especially the nice housekeeping attendant! we did not ask for room service because we came with towels and all but she kept asking whether we need anything and supplied us with more drinking water as well as towels. there is a deposit that you have to pay so do keep in mind about this! the cleanliness is average but the bathtub is not extremely clean especially the bath mat provided. the ceiling paint on top of the bathtub was also peeling when we stayed in the hotel. the amenities provided were great and seemed to cover everything we use. there were bath gel, conditioner and shower 2-in-1 and dental kit. they also provide a hair dryer!
