Ocean Front View King for one night.
Gil was an Angel and made check in more than pleasant.
___________First impressions/ brief overview_________
Room:
Clean palette, open spacious design.
Lovely resting area, the sofas are incredibly comfortable.
Nice variety of lamps and lighting options.
TV is unremarkable.
-
Bathroom: the walk-in shower / bathtub hybrid was sublime and absolutely remarkable.
Personally not a fan of the aesthetic of the tiles but it the experience was almost onsen-like and definitely therapeutic, and rare if not unique in Hong Kong - a true escape from the busyness of the city.
Towels and such were placed in … kind of a random manner so be mindful of which is what.
The ventilation is poor and steam/condensation builds up extremely quickly especially if the water is hot. So do be mindful to watch the slippery surfaces and leave clothing outside to avoid soaked clothing.
Please take extra care and rise slowly after a bath in such a condition!
Lastly, the view was sadly a blur, perhaps due to steam trapped in the double-insulated windows, or perhaps blurred, stained or otherwise frosted intentionally for privacy reasons?
Despite all this, the faux-sauna-onset-tub-shower was more than worth it.
-
Food:
No microwave, small food, small selection.
However, the carbonara - truffle pizza was HEAVENLY.
-
Conclusion:
Worth it.
