We had a wonderful 5 day stay. The hotel is full of vintage charm!! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and again, charming! We were right in the heart of town with shops and restaurants within an easy walk. We will definitely go back the best time we're in Fort Scott!!

Lovely historic hotel with homey feel. Beautiful tin ceilings, gorgeous lobby, relaxing rooms. Our stay was quiet in room 15 with a large king bed and a recliner and big lounge chair. In room fridge was handy. My only thing I could complain on is the shower. I’m guessing due to the age of the building the hot water heater must be aways from the bathroom. It took a very long time to get hot water. But it did finally get hot. The room was super clean! Owners are so nice! Coffee, muffins and juice for breakfast. The adjoined spa was nice. We did a couples massage we booked ahead of time. It was nice. Give this hotel a try, we would stay again!!

We spent only 1 night, the hotel had a great atmosphere and staff were all friendly. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Note no elevators or 1st floor rooms. Not a concern for us. Will be coming back on our next trip through Fort Scott.

We could have not been happier with our stay here, close to everything we wanted to do. The folks that run this place are wonderful-friendly. We will be headed back at some point, if for nothing the great nostalgia of this place!

Highly recommend staying in this historic family owned hotel!! Very clean and well appointed rooms. We had room 16 which is a King room. Comfortable bed! Owners live on sight and are wonderful to visit with. Restaurants with 2 block walking distance as well as historic Fort Scott grounds & museum. We will definitely stay here again!!!

The hotel is very clean. The decor is beautiful. You can tell the owners care a lot about their property. The staff is very friendly, making sure guests have everything they need. Will definitely stay again if I'm in the Fort Scott area.

We enjoyed our stay! Unplanned trip just for fun from Tulsa. When possible we love nontraditional hotels. Beds were comfy, rooms clean, and the water was hot. Inn keepers/owners were nice and informative. Interesting to learn they raised their family while living in the hotel. Fort Scott had several places of interest to visit. Note no elevators or 1st floor rooms. Not a concern for us. We would stay again.

My daughter and I had 90 minutes massages that were fantastic. We were welcomed by the Owner who shared the history of the hotel and spa. The services were great. My masseuse was Bonnie. It was evident she cared about my experience and the health of my body. Following the service, she spent time talking with me about issues she felt in my back and neck and explained how massage could help me. She knew I was visiting the area and would not be back to see her, but she still took the time to help me and I was very thankful.

Historic hotel, very clean! Location in the heart of downtown Fort Scott, a block from the National Historic Site. Numerous local restaurants within walking distance.We stayed in room 15 which was very spacious and included a king bed, two stuffed chairs, mini fridge, desk, and bath with tub & shower. Breakfast included cereal, milk, OJ, fruit, packaged muffins/granola bars, bagels w/cream cheese & peanut butter, oatmeal packets. The owners were very friendly and helpful - they also have a small event space and connected spa. Note: rooms 1-15 are all on the 2nd floor, up a beautiful, long stairway - no elevator in this historic hotel.
