It was nice

So i booked the apartment which when i booked it didn't mention anything regarding a booking deposit . I got a mail asking for 100 pound deposit which I thought was ridiculous given I was travelling for work and this was not clearly stated . I rang to ask for my money back and they were really rude to me on the phone I felt I was scammed out of 70 pound as they did not refund me and were rude . I read the reviews of others and did not want to pay a deposit as they have refused to pay it to other people . Overall poor experience I have reported this company to trading standards as many have before me

I can't in good faith recommend staying here. The apartments are not as advertised, the pictures make the place look much larger and more modern than it actually is. Further to this, it was not made clear at the time of booking that the owners would be in contact to charge a deposit for the apartment, which didn't sit well with me if I'm honest as seems like a scam tactic. I wouldn't say the that the place was kept to a high level of cleanliness either. There were some stains on the bedding that were rather off-putting. For the price you can do much better in the area.

Lovely apartments. The service was very good. . Just had to ring and they were round in literally 2 minutes if there is an issue. . I accidentally put the child lock onthe hob. Very clean and modern. Understandable that they require a Deposit as the apartments are all new and if damage occurs they can recover the damages.

You get a text 3 hours before arrival asking for a £50 damage deposit and access not granted until paid. I stayed 26th June and is now 5th July and am still awaiting refund of the deposit. They do not make you aware of this condition until the day of arrival. Lots of promises of it will be sorted but nothing. If you want somewhere basic in a run down area and building site then this is the place for you

I really enjoyed my stay, room was clean and finished to a high standard. Really close to city centre and just what we needed, (Yes you have to pay a damage deposit before you stay but I have found this is standard with most places and I got a refund straight away)

Fast forward its been 2 weeks I have been chasing them for my deposit and they have not been helpful at all all I keep getting told is the money has been released contact your bank. This company should not be allowed to run at all the pictures are not what the apartment actually looks like. Walking in there the toilet smelt damp. I advise people to not book with SKY CITY APARTMENTS to save yourself stress

Firstly, they allowed us to change our check in time to 12pm and we got for 12 just to be told check in is 3pm… The room looks nothing like the pictures. They made it look way nicer than it actually is don’t be fooled. Window locks were broken, walls are so thin you can hear the room next to you. They didn’t even leave hand soap in the bathroom to wash our hands with. They send you a message telling you to pay a deposit or you can’t get in, it was £100, which was more than the whole cost of the apartment… Customer service is poor, not worth at all you’re better off going somewhere else

I really enjoyed my stay in the C10 room. The room was nice and spacious that it felt like I was at home, the bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby, good for family room and it was immaculate. Would recommend to friends and family.
