I was travelling to Koln with a friend and room was cancelled at 00:36 the same day ! During the night then !!! I noticed the cancellation when we were already in Koln. The day before I have been asked to update my credit card information (around 10 am) and I did (around 11 am). I received an email from the booking website confirming it was ok and I was invited by the “hotel” itself to proceed with the online checkin. When arriving in Koln, I contacted the hotel and the person told me they didn’t get any news about my credit cart information update so they cancel my booking. We called the supposedly “friendly” staff to help us find a solution but our room was, of course, already sold. (During the night between 1 am and 9am) Probably for a higher price !!!! Btw: during weekends, Hotel prices in this city are ridiculously high for nothing. Hotel staff did nothing to help us and didn’t even bother to warn us that we were traveling to a city without any valid booking. It’s a shame. Now I will enjoy my super expensive remote room for the price of a beautiful room in Paris. Thanks Koncept Hotel 👌
