Happy with the convenient location, the clean rooms and the check-in/check-out. Outdoor setting for evening drinks was a nice place to relax. Surprisingly the outdoor pool was quite cool even considering it is in Broken Hill's hot sunshine Staff were happy and helpful. We would stay again.

This hotel is in the centre of Broken Hill, on the main street and near the Visitor Information Centre. It feels like a motel, with exterior entry to the rooms and parking outside your door. The room itself was comfortable. There is a small swimming pool and a restaurant in the central courtyard.

Our 3 night stay in this quality motel could not have been better. It is modern, clean and well equipped to meet all our needs. There is an excellent restaurant on site and it is a short walk to the centre of town. As a base for exploring the city and surrounding attractions we could not fault it. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Highly recommended.

The Ibis is a no fuss, minimal hotel. Staff are friendly and there’s a restaurant onsite that does room service and breakfast. The restaurant, as is the hotel, is very reasonably priced. Quite a nice pool as well. Car parking is outside (not undercover). Room was large and bathroom was also big. This was a great place for a one night visit for work.

We stopped for one night at the Ibis whilst travelling from the Barossa to Dubbo. The rooms are a little basic but comfortable enough and very handy to be able to park right outside the room. The small pool looked inviting on a hot afternoon but I didn’t get the chance to use it. What was great here was the restaurant. The most beautifully cooked steak from a good menu and a good choice of beers and wines. Really friendly service from the staff too and the restaurant had a really friendly buzz. Would certainly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for a week, very relaxing place to stay, the meals were excellent staff were perfect led by Andrew very obliging man. We were close to the shops, clubs, and walking distance to coffee shops and information centre. Room good, bed comfortable, good shower, clean linen every day

We stayed overnight on new years day. Running ahead of schedule on our road trip, we weren't expecting to stop at Broken Hill so hadn't booked ahead. The Manager, Andrew, was great ond offered us a large family room or the 3 bedroom apartment which we booked. The unit was tidy and clean, Andrew was able to direct us to the only place open for dinner and we had a great night. Thanks Andrew, we have great memories of our stay in Broken Hill!

Room was very clean but small and nowhere to sit and relax. Went for breakfast which was open until 9am at 8.40. Ordered coffee first and went to order at 8.50. Waited 5 mins to be served to be told that they’d already cleaned up and not available.

The location is great, a couple of mins walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of Broken Hill’s main street. The hotel itself has the appearance of an old style motel with a more modern T-shaped extension that contains the reception, restaurant (open select nights) and small splash pool. There’s a reasonable amount of off-street parking and lots more on street. The room was clean, basic, quite dated (complete with an alarm clock radio). The bed was comfy. Sound proofing was shocking - to the point you could hear the other guests in conversation and also using the toilet. I opted for their restaurant on one occasion during the stay. The paella was quite nice, the service was inattentive (even though not particularly busy) and their was an overcharge on the bill (which, on highlighting, was corrected). Booking a few months in advance, and as an Accor member, the rate was fine (circa $130 a night). At that price, I think it’s fine. At full rate, not so much.
