I recently had the misfortune of booking a hotel room through *******, and I must say it was one of the most horrendous experiences I've ever had as a traveler. Upon arriving at the hotel on the day of my reservation, I was greeted with the shocking news that they had no record of my booking. Despite providing them with all the necessary details and receiving a confirmation from *******, the hotel claimed to be fully booked and had no room available for me. Can you imagine the frustration and inconvenience of being left without a place to stay? I was left scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, and the only available option was significantly more expensive than what I had originally booked. I strongly advise anyone considering booking through ******* to think twice. Don't make the same mistake I did. Their incompetence and lack of accountability will only lead to frustration and disappointment. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a reliable and trustworthy travel booking service. Note: This review is based on my personal experience and reflects my honest opinion.

After 60 days at Insel, I can only recommend this as a place to stay, I will be back soon. German efficiency and its heritage (named after an island in the north of Germany) is a reflection in the staff work practises. The staff are friendly, particularly front desk Patricia and team, always addressing by your name and the cleaning staff (Elizabeth on 3rd floor) professional in their excellence to completing their tasks. The room was comfortable, with air con/fan and a good size kitchenette.

I regret booking here, there are cheaper hotels that are better in the area. The staff are lovely, but the cleaning is horrible. When I checked in there was alcohol can and conditioner on the table next to me bed, used bars of soap and dirty glass. Tired at 3am I just slept and the next day I listed everything that had to be done in my room. The lovely staff did follow through but they were inconsistent. Some days they wouldn't put conditioner, one day the glass was dirty, and one day they didn't refill coffee sachets. There's no sugar or tea in the room. On checkout they tried to charge me for a wifi which I never asked for or used, I told them to rewind the cctv, I have my mobile data I did not need the wifi. Anyways they didn't charge me for it after some resistance from my side. I don't think I'll ever stay here or recommend this place to anyone. Outrigger Samoa is much better I've been told.

Had an interesting start to my 5 night stay here. Arrived at the hotel at 5am, after booking for the previous night to ensure immediate access to the room, to be shown into a dirty unmade up room. Took about an hour for the housekeepers to arrive and make up the room. The staff were very apologetic both in the early hours of the morning and later that day. The staff are the best thing about this hotel - they are friendly and obliging. The rooms are tired, but are consistent with most Samoan hotels. The provided breakfast was ok, but you need to be at breakfast early to have a selection. The restaurant itself ran out of bread and other things on the menu on the Sunday. The location was ok, about a 30 minute walk to downtown but be aware of the roaming dogs.

I would like to thank the lovely staff at the insel Furman for making my frist trip too samoa, with lovely friendly people eg. Patricia and tumama with your lovely welcome every morning and the lady's who do the house keep 4x stars too you guys room are lovely and clean eg. Elina and table.then the great service and food at the restaurant great work guys .would all so the the night guards always friendly in the morning after working all night you guys have made my frist visit to this beautiful place so much more enjoyable thank you again

Honestly I'm a little bit in 2 minds about my review, Our family had a rocky start staying here, we had to change rooms many times due to various fairly important problems with our rooms, but in the end it was sorted by management and the last part of our stay was trouble free. Unfortunately there was renovations happening next to the hotel with an angle grinder and hammering from 7 in the morning until afternoon, not the hotels fault but very noisy. The cleaning and restaurant staff (all staff actually) work very hard to keep the hotel running and do the best they can to accommodate a nice stay. Overall its a reasonable hotel, the third floor is probably the best one to stay on if you can mange the stairs, you will need to provide your own kitchen cleaning products if you want to do any cooking or dishes. The location is very handy and close to town and there is a great supermarket and restaurants (pickled Lam was excellent) within walking distance. Thank you to all the hard working staff that work around the clock making your stay a pleasant one, its certainly not expected, but if you can tip staff from time to time it goes a long way for people who get very little pay for a lot of work. Good luck for the future Insel Fermarn and Staff.

We stayed at four otels on this trip. Insel was by far the best service and amenities. Staff were amazing especially Patricia and Tumama on front desk. Breakfast was always delicious with beautiful smiling staff as was housekeeping. Only request is to upgrade pillows some were handstitched and fluffy in the beginning but flat when you woke up in the mornings.

Basic, but fitted our needs perfectly. Some things needed updating/modernisation, but somethings were updated :-) friendly staff and location was ideal for us. Quiet too with a fab view to the sea. Great pool/restaurant area.
